History

The Hamilton County Garden Network has been made possible by a grant awarded by the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) in the summer of 2016. The grant focused on the needs of food insecure populations within Hamilton County and how community gardens have responded to that need. Recognizing that all gardens, especially community gardens, play a vital role in the health of the environment, soil, water, and the health of communities, the Hamilton County Garden Network was born.
